Dr. Erica Hutton is a noteworthy Criminal Psychologist, Criminal Profiler, & Professor. She entered into the realm of criminal justice in 1997 when she started working with juveniles that were troubled, delinquent, and dangerous; her interests graduated while she was pursuing her Master's Degree in Criminal Justice and elected to move into working with criminally insane populations and eventually entering into the field of crime scene investigations. She has 23 years of field experience and has been a Professor for 14 years teaching on the Bachelors, Master's and Doctoral levels.
Her commentary and expertise on cases range from academic publications in peer-reviewed journal articles to providing expert opinions in the news. She is an integral part of cold case investigations, leading the investigation in complex crimes that include heinous measures of mutilation, serial killer case assessment, probation and parole release assessments, as well as acting as a forensic expert in criminal profiling and criminal behavior.
Dr. Hutton's home is nestled in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of East TN, where the mountain backdrop is breathtaking and the small towns are quaint and welcoming.
